On the second Saturday of every month, we are firing up a little extra club fun with a morning breakfast we are calling Breakfast and Scuttlebutt — because no good plate of eggs should ever be served without a side of stories, opinions, and at least one tale that gets better every time it is told. In the odd-numbered months, we will gather in Newhall at Mama’s Table, and in the even-numbered months we will wander around the Valley so everybody gets a fair shot at a close-by cup of coffee and a stack of pancakes. It is a great chance to enjoy a good breakfast with friends, catch up with members we may not see at the regular meetings, and spend a little time solving the world’s problems the same way we fix Model A’s — with fellowship, laughter, and a whole lot of shade tree wisdom.
